The visa to Russia

The visa to Russia — the entry visa given out by authorized(commissioned) state body to Russia and transit travel through territory of Russia under the valid document proving the identity of the foreign citizen. Foreigners can drive to Russia and leave it(her) only at presence of the visa.

The visa to Russia contains following data on the foreign citizen: a surname, a name, date of a birth, a floor, citizenship, number of the basic valid document proving its(his) identity, date of issue of visa, term of its(her) action and frequency rate of the visa, the resolved term of stay in the Russian Federation, number of the invitation to entrance to the Russian Federation, the purpose the trips given about the inviting organization ( in case of the guest invitation — data about the inviting physical person(face)).

Registration of the visa to Russia

To issue the invitation (it is necessary to define(determine) the type of the Russian visa most suitable for the foreigner and to receive the corresponding(meeting) invitation).
To collect the necessary complete set of documents for registration of the visa to Russia.
To be registered within 3 days from the moment of arrival in Russia (in ОВД in a place of residing, or in a place of hotel accommodation ).

Registration of the foreign citizen is made at presentation of a migratory card(map) (it(her) it is necessary to receive and fill at entrance to the Russian Federation), having a special mark of body of the boundary control over entrance to Russia, and the document proving its(his) identity.
